Friends of the Shelter is a community of compassionate women dedicated to supporting victims of domestic and sexual abuse in Somerset, NJ.

Through our fundraising efforts and volunteer initiatives, we provide critical assistance to men, women and children served by Safe + Sound Somerset.

The Friends of the Shelter has raised

Since 1987, we've raised more than $2 million to fund essential programs and services that help survivors reclaim their lives. Through our Author Luncheon and other events and initiatives, we make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
